Introduction
The indie iND80001 “Lodestar” chip is an E-marker device designed to fit inside cables used for the new USB-C standard, supporting PD 2.0 cables which can deliver up to 100W.
The iND80001 is the smallest device in the industry at less than 1 sq. mm and is available as a WLCSP and DFN packages.
Lodestar was certified by the USB Implementer’s Forum (USB-IF) in February 2016 and is production-ready now.
